A guest’s first impression of our course begins with our cart staff. A welcoming and attentive team enhances the overall customer experience. Our cart members are responsible for greeting guests, managing the cart area and bag drop, and maintaining the practice range. This position offers an excellent opportunity to connect with new people in an interactive setting.
Our kitchen staff ensures that guests receive an exceptional dining experience. Creating outstanding meals, preparing plates for our indoor and outdoor restaurant, and maintaining immaculate kitchen standards are among the kitchen team’s essential responsibilities. This department significantly contributes to the experience of our clients who celebrate memorable occasions at our course and venue. Working in our professional kitchen, restaurant, and banquet environments will enhance your culinary expertise, as culinary excellence is both taught and expected at Shepherd’s Hollow.
Our restaurant servers present our dining services with professionalism and warmth. This team welcomes guests, serves food and beverages, maintains the turn grille, and manages the bar. Our golfers interact with our wait staff before, during, and after their round on the course. The primary objective for our restaurant servers is to ensure each guest departs thoroughly satisfied with their dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals with a service-oriented nature who take pleasure in providing exceptional customer care.
Our pro shop staff operates in a dynamic environment, assisting guests to deliver outstanding customer service. This department’s duties include scheduling tee times, responding to inquiries via telephone and email, organizing and maintaining the pro shop, selling merchandise, and providing customer assistance as needed.
Our starter and ranger staff bear the important responsibility of informing guests about the course before play commences. Beyond welcoming golfers, our starters and rangers manage course play. Maintaining consistent tee times, monitoring pace of play, and overseeing course activities are vital duties that enhance the customer experience. This position is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and engaging in regular communication with guests.
Similar to our restaurant servers, our banquet team members strive to provide exceptional event dining services for our clients. Our servers play a significant role in a couple’s wedding celebration, as well as for all attendees. Serving our specialty cuisine to event guests, offering attentive customer service, and responding promptly to customer needs are all crucial responsibilities within this department. This position is ideal for college students or individuals employed during weekdays seeking supplemental income.
At Shepherd’s Hollow, we emphasize our exceptional service, beginning with our distinctive course. Our maintenance crew is responsible for preserving excellent playing conditions on the golf course, as well as maintaining the grounds surrounding the clubhouse and banquet facility. Visiting Shepherd’s Hollow
Please be advised that with road construction on I-75 near our exit (exit #93).
Beginning Monday 4/7/25 there will be two lanes both northbound and southbound on I-75. Additionally, Exit 93 will be closed for those heading southbound on I-75. A detour is available. We encourage guests to leave additional time in their schedule as a result. For additional information please visit the MDot website here.
We recommend that if I-75 is part of your drive to Shepherd’s Hollow, you plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time.
