Please review the information below regarding our online tee time reservation system.
How To Book A Tee Time:
- Click the “Book a Tee Time” button below. A new window will open.
- Sign in or create an account to book a tee time (select the ‘Login/Register’ button on the page). Once created, you will always be able to book a tee time with ease.
- Use the menu icon in the top left corner to select the parameters of your desired tee time.
- Click search to filter to your preferred results.
- Select your preferred tee time.
- Complete your reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Your tee time reservation is non-refundable within 12 hours of your scheduled tee time but may be transferred should you wish to send others in your place. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows significantly impact the financial stability of golf courses, and we strive to maintain employment security for our dedicated staff. While this policy may be unfamiliar to some, it helps ensure our business remains healthy and viable.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to your tee time may be issued a rain check or full refund.
- Cancellations made between 24 and 12 hours prior to your scheduled tee time will be issued a rain check.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before your tee time, or failure to appear for your reserved time, will not be eligible for refund or rain check.
- In the event of inclement weather, rain checks will be available at the golf course’s discretion.
- Should you need to cancel your tee time, please contact our Pro Shop directly at (248) 290-9904.
Road Construction - 2025
Please be advised that with road construction on I-75 near our exit (exit #93).
Beginning Monday 4/7/25 there will be two lanes both northbound and southbound on I-75. Additionally, Exit 93 will be closed for those heading southbound on I-75. A detour is available. We encourage guests to leave additional time in their schedule as a result. For additional information please visit the MDot website here.
We recommend that if I-75 is part of your drive to Shepherd’s Hollow, you plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time.

What is Dynamic Pricing?
- Dynamic Pricing / Green Fees are subject to change without notice.
- Dynamic Pricing refers to our rates changing regularly in real time, based on the demand of the consumer. Plenty of factors play into the fluctuation of our rates such as time of day, weather, and most importantly demand. This model operates in real time and prices fluctuate as tee times sell or get cancelled.
How can I get the best rate with Dynamic Pricing?
- The Dynamic Pricing model allows you to book the tee time and price you want by reserving in advance and taking advantage of our 14-day booking window! The earlier you book, the better chance you have of booking a lower price! This pricing model is new to the golf industry; however, airlines, hotels, and even sports teams have been using this pricing model for years to better serve their guests and fans.
Do rates change during the season?
- Rates will vary across the season. As we open for the season, pre-spring rates will be available in recognition of spring conditions on the golf course.
What is the Pace of Play policy?
- For the enjoyment of all, we have a pace of play standard here of 4 hours and 40 minutes for 18 holes of golf. This includes 2 hours and 15 minutes for each 9 holes of play plus 10 minutes allotted for time spent at the turn. Our team utilizes GPS technology to monitor play on the course and manage pace of play.
What are the rules for operating golf carts?
- All guests are required to present a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts. In order to operate a golf cart, a person must be 16 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license. Anyone under 18 years old who is operating a cart must be in the presence of someone 18 years or older. Additionally, no one under the age of 18 can have a passenger under the age of 18 in their cart.
Is there a rider fee for non-golfing guests?
- There is a rider’s fee of $35 for 18 holes/$20 for 9 holes associated with non-playing guests. All riders must be 5 years of age or older. Please note that course capacity necessitates riders not always being permitted. While riders can generally be accommodated Monday through Thursday, be advised that on most weekend dates (Friday through Sunday), riders cannot be allowed before 3:00 pm due to lack of availability. Please call our Pro Shop in advance to determine if a rider will be possible on your desired day/time.
Will my group be paired with others?
- Groups of less than 4 players will be paired with others.
Are metal spikes allowed?
- Metal spikes are prohibited.
Is food and beverage service available on the course?
- Shepherd’s Hollow offers a full service turn grille to accommodate your food and beverage needs. You are able to purchase snacks, sandwiches and beverages from here prior to tee off and as you make the turn. While we do not have a beverage cart on our course, we are able to put beverages on ice for you to enjoy throughout your first nine holes prior to making the turn.
- In accordance with the state of Michigan liquor laws, no outside alcohol may be brought onto our property at any time.
Effective 3.20.23 all credit card transactions will be subject to a 3% convenience fee.
By proceeding with this transaction, you are acknowledging that you are responsible to pay this fee and you authorize us to charge your credit card the additional amount necessary to cover this fee. For those who prefer not to pay a convenience fee, please note that the use of a debit card does not incur this fee. The consumer should carefully consider which of these two options meets their needs prior to conducting the transaction.
